From May through November on Sundays, and Saturdays in July, local artists and craftsmen display and sell their wares at Art in the Park, Dinosaur Park Caves, 10 am to 4 pm.  Lots of other activities such as BBQ, children's activities.  For more information, contact Shannon @ 805-704-8128 or email her at artinthepark_2006@hotmail.com .

Starting at 9 am, you can Stride with the Tide and walk or run your way to a win starting from the Pismo Beach Pier.  Registration starts at 7:30 am and is $15 (includes a t-shirt).  For more information contact the Pismo Beach Recreation Division at 805-773-7063.  12 years of age and under.

Oct 10 2010
If you like to run and walk, there is also a Half-Marathon and 5 km race on October 10.  Registration starts at 6:30 am and there is a post-race breakfast at 9:30.  Call 805-546-3100, ext 2057 for more information.

Oct 16 & 17 2010

Oct 29-31 2010
There is a traditional Dixieland Jazz Festival on the ocean on October 29-31.  For more information contact Visitor Information or the Chamber of Commerce at 800-443-7778.  There is also a Marching Bands competition in early November every year.

Nov 2010

Nov to Feb 2010
From November to February, you can watch the watch the Monarch Butterflies as they cluster in the Eucalyptus trees at the Monarch Butterfly Grove.  Tours are available.  For more information contact Visitor Information at 800 443-7778 or visit www.MonarchButterfly.org .

Xmas – early Dec 2010
For the Christmas season, there is a holiday celebration and tree lighting ceremony that takes place in early December.  Lots of fun for kids including crafts and cookies demonstrating and of course a visit with Santa and carolling.  Contact the Pismo Beach Recreation Division at 805-773-7049 has more information.

Dec to May 2010
From December to May, you can also watch the whales as they make they make their way north.  Pismo beach is a great place for sighting, or you can arrange a boat tour or go sea kayaking.  Contact Pismo Visitor Information for more information at 800-443-7778.
